REVIEW: East Bound by Nana Malone
Updated: May 8
Disclaimer: I won free ARCs of the 'Hear No Evil' trilogy in a giveaway.
East Bound picks up immediately where East End (previously reviewed here) leaves off—and oh boy, is it one hell of a ride.
Convinced that Nyla's betrayed him, East swears his revenge on her, and this man will stop at nothing to protect the people he considers family. And I really do mean nothing, the man tips over into actual stalker behaviour at one point. When I say I want to shake every man in this series, I am not kidding. Except for Ben, he's got it together.
But even though East has shut Nyla out completely—and boy, is she pissed about that—the machinations of master thief Francis Theroux require the pair to work together, and for Nyla to be back in the fold of the London Lords.
East Bound has even more twists and turns than East End, and the tension between East and Nyla only ups the ante. Forced into working together, they can't deny the attraction between them—even though they refuse to talk to each other about why they split. Although that doesn't stop them from hooking up—and those scenes are straight fire, let me tell you. Malone writes brilliantly filthy heroes that know exactly what they're doing, and this girl needed a fan!
I adored reading this, and I can't wait to get my teeth into book three in the series!
Final verdict: A brilliant sequel, East Bound is sexy, suspenseful, and full of drama. 🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯/5 honeypots!
